A Twitter account associated with the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) posted a photo from a porn scene and claimed it was an example of the Taliban abusing women.
As spotted by open source intelligence Twitter account @sentdefender, the NRF’s tweet claimed to show women being abducted by the Taliban, with a screenshot from a green-hued night vision Tour of Booty scene.
“The relentless persecution of Tajik and Hazara women by the Taliban persists with unyielding cruelty. Attached is a chilling image capturing the moment Taliban terrorists abduct two innocent women, a stark symbol of their oppressive gender apartheid regime. #FreeAfghanistan,” the tweet, which has since been deleted, said.
The screenshot shows two porn performers in full makeup and hijabs being pushed by a man in military fatigues. The video it’s from is titled “Leaked Footage Of US Soldiers Engaged In Lascivious Activity Overseas.” (Google it yourself.) In it, several American soldiers pay Muslim women for sex.
The NRF is an anti-Taliban resistance alliance formed in 2021 after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. The Twitter bio for @WeAreNRF says “We support the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan and believe in their vision for a free, safe, and prosperous Afghanistan.”
Tour of Booty is not, in fact, run by the Taliban, but is a series by porn production company Bang Bros. The plots of each of the videos center around American soldiers in countries like Afghanistan, who have sex with any local women they find, who are usually dressed in burkas or other Muslim attire. The adult actors in the videos are mostly not Muslim themselves.
While Tour of Booty is an extreme example of the genre, it touches on similar power fantasies present in cop porn; military porn is a popular genre in itself, and often involves themes like non-consent and race play.
