Leonardo AI, an AI image generating platform that’s raised $31 million from investors including Samsung, is being used to generate nonconsensual sexual images of celebrities, 404 Media has found.
Leonardo AI works much like another website we’ve covered recently, Civitai. It allows users to browse a variety of user-generated Stable Diffusion text-to-image AI models that were trained to produce a certain kind of image. Some models are meant to recreate a certain aesthetic or composition, while other models are trained to recreate the likeness of a particular person. Leonardo AI users can use these models to instantly generate images on the site.
