The types of arguments that are happening on the Wikimedia Talk Page for the user NudistPhotographer are as pedantic and familiar as the many Wikipedia beefs I have read throughout the years. “Please give images better names,” one user wrote. “I noticed you’ve uploaded File:DSC00654_(30452430356).jpg and I thought I should draw your attention to a common error … I suggest you rename your image with an intuitive name that describes the image itself.”
The next image the user uploaded did have a more descriptive name: “File: Naked man being pleasured with a toy.png.”
That image has the description “English: Naked man being pleasured with a Temple Stroker Open Ended Masturbator. Date: 23 July 2021. Source: Own work. Author: NudistPhotographer. This file is made available under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.” This image is then subjected to a series of requested deletions and discussion about its merits: “Unnecessary image which does not add encyclopedic value; we already have similar images,” a user wrote.
